America's Greatest Comics

America’s Greatest Comics was a series from the Golden Age of Comics featuring superheroes such as Captain Marvel, Bulletman, Minute Man, Spy Smasher, and Mr. Scarlet, and even more heroes who made their appearance after issue #1. It was Fawcett Publications’ first square bound comic, and it featured 100 pages of action-packed stories. The first issue was released in 1941 and there was a 5-month delay before issue #2. After that, the comics came out once every three months, until the final issue was released in 1943. In the first few issues, the stories were 15-20 pages long and featured several superheroes meeting and working together to save the planet from villains and major threats.
