Captain America is the alias of the rejected U.S army enlistee, Steve Rogers, who would go on to become an American super-soldier after receiving a super soldier serum.

Due to a number of health issues, Steve Rogers, the First Avenger, was turned down by the American Army during World War II. As a result, he ultimately agreed to participate in Project Rebirth, where he was administered a top-secret super soldier serum by Dr Abraham Erskine. His once frail and skinny body was significantly improved by the serum, helping him achieve peak human physicality.

With his stunning red, white, and blue superhero suit and vibranium shield, Captain America's role as the Sentinel of Liberty contributed to the victory of America's allies. But it wasn't long before Captain America was lost at sea. He was eventually found to have spent decades frozen in ice in a state of suspended animation. Rogers was eventually defrosted in the modern era so that he could fight in battle with his brand-new companions, known as the Avengers.

Captain America is an amazing hero, and a great addition to the Avengers, which is attributable to his superhuman talents, in-depth training, battle experience, courage, bravery, and strong leadership skills.

Who is Iron Man?

Iron Man is a superhero identified by the armored suit that he wears. This Iron Man armor is both designed and wielded by the extremely wealthy inventor Tony Stark. While it is the suit that makes Mr Stark Iron Man, it is Tony Stark’s own innovation, intelligence, and skill that makes Iron Man the powerful hero that he is.

Stark was abducted by local terrorists while inspecting a production facility in a foreign country. Though his captors strictly ordered him to produce innovative weapons for them, instead, he secretly developed a potent piece of armor that would allow him to escape - and before long he was free. When Stark eventually made it back to the USA, he worked on developing and upgrading his armor even more, and used his tremendous wealth and intellectual capacity to become Iron Man, to help the world and eliminate evil.

Without the suit, the genius industrialist admittedly has no superpowers of his own. However, he still boasts a wealth of intelligence and a substantial amount of money which has allowed him to upgrade his suits and armor throughout his comic book storyline. With his cutting-edge technology, Stark suits himself up to become a real superhero who would go on to become one of the original five members of the Avengers.

For the majority of his career, Tony Stark maintained his secret identity as Iron Man, while also managing his duties as CEO of Stark Industries and forming the Avengers, the world's most renowned superhero team. He would, however, reveal himself as Iron Man to the world in the end.

Who would win in a fight?

As we mentioned before, Captain America is undoubtedly physically stronger than Iron Man, and if they were to fight in a hand-to-hand battle using only their physical capabilities, Captain America would most likely be victorious.

Nonetheless, if we take into account every weapon and feature in each of their comic book series, their character’s armory and inventory, it wouldn't be much of a contest, as Iron Man possesses much superior weaponry and technology.

If Iron Man were to use his entire arsenal of weapons and abilities against Rogers, though, it would be seen as somewhat unfair. So, if it came down to a fair fight, perhaps Captain America would be the one punching the air.
