What's Superman's Girl Friend, Lois Lane #1 worth in 2025?
Lois Lane #1, produced in 1958, is almost certainly undervalued with only 189 unrestored copies known. There are also no copies known to exist over VF 8.0. Zero copies. The highest graded copy sold for a mere $8,000 in 2014. Every other #1 from that era is at least triple this number in value. Low and mid grades can be gotten for a pittance compared to other books of the same age. FN 6.0 currently go for $1,900 while GD 2.0 bring only $400. Compare that to $1,100 and $150 in 2009 respectively. It amounts to a slow return but any major development with the character could send this book's value into orbit. We recommend this as a buy and hold to add value to your comic book portfolio.
Why is this comic book valuable?
Lois Lane #1 squarely put the focus nf a non super human in a super human universe. This would eventually come to mean a lot more than just another comic book in the lives of young girls of the day. Lois Lane hasn't had her own book as long as Superman but she has been around just as long, making her debut in Action Comics #1 just like Supes.
