What's Superman #96 worth in 2025?
The NM- 9.2 and VF/NM 9.0 copies of #96 have yet to go on sale. Below them, a VF 8.0 sold for $359 in 2009. Lower grades have grown beyond that benchmark. VF- 7.5 set the historical high of $388 in 2012, FN- 5.5 has a current value of $360, and GD/VG 3.0 moved from $55 in 2005 to today's $175.
Why is this comic book valuable?
Some collectors say this is the first appearance of Mr. Mxyztplk in his current form. There was a version of the villain spelled differently in issue #30 of this series, but #96 is sometimes credited as the proper debut.
