What's Fantastic Four #12 worth in 2025?

Fantastic Four #12 in it's highest known Curator Copy with the grade of NM+ 9.6 brought $65,725 in back in 2012. Middle grade books like a FN 6.0 recently brought $1,680 versus $500 back in 2009 and low grade copies (GD 2.0) can be picked up for around $600, leaving plenty of room for value to grow. It's a slow growth book with a lot of history behind it making ita solid buy especially in the higher grades.

Why is this comic book valuable?

Fantastic Four #12 was published by Marvel Comics in March 1963. The cover of this issue was pencilled by Jack Kirby and it was inked by Dick Ayers. The script was written by Stan Lee. It is also the first crossover book in the Marvel Universe as well as the first time The Hulk faces off against The Thing and company. Historically Hulk vs Thing has proven to be a fan favorite and makes this one of the most desirable books in Marvel History. Out of almost 1200 issues of #12 registered with CGC there are less than 60 copies in the world graded VF/NM 9.0 or better.

Story Synopsis

The team was sent on the mission by General Ross to find and destory the Hulk. General's base was subotaged by some unkown elements and Hulk being the only suspect.
