Captain Midnight

Captain Midnight was a comic series first released in September 1942 by Fawcett. The character had appeared previously as a guest in other stories, but this is the first story released by Fawcett where he is introduced as the main character. The stories follow the Captain as he fights in the air against Axis forces alongside some companions including Captain Marvel, who has many guest appearances in the books. The series ran for exactly six years, being cancelled in September 1948. In the 2000s, the character was acquired by Dark Horse comics and some stories featuring him as the main character were released.
