Blue Ribbon Comics

Blue Ribbon Comics was an anthology series, first released in 1939. It featured several stories with characters such as Buck Stacey, Foxy Grandpa, Boodini the Great, and a few others. The audience has always liked long comics with several stories, and Blue Ribbon was no exception. It had a pretty good run for three years, releasing 22 issues, but was cancelled due to the public being interested in other comics at the time, mostly featuring soldiers and war stories.
