What's Action Comics #12 worth in 2025?
The highest graded unrestored and complete copy is a CGC VF- 7.5. GPA reports that copy last sold for $7,000 in 2005. A CGC G/VG 3.0 pulled in $12,000 in 2018. This book in a CGC NM+ 9.6 would easily bring $150,000. We recommend picking this up in any grade due to scarcity especially if you are a Batman fan. You won't be disappointed.
Why is this comic book valuable?
Even though Superman's x-ray vision is revealed for the first time in Actions Comics #11 Action Comics #12 is more valuable. Surprisingly not because of Superman. This issue of Action contains an advertisment for another mainstream DC book, Detective Comics #27, and essentially what amounts to the first time Batman is seen in a comic book. CGC Census reports just 37 copies on record and only 24 of those being unrestored.
