What's Batman #23 worth in 2025?

A Batman #23 in Mint Condition has nearly tripled in value in the last 10 years.  A CGC NM+ 9.6 would most likely sell for $75,000 in today's market.  A CGC NM+ 9.6 last sold for $43,000 back in 2015.  In 2009, a NM+ copy would have sold for around $15,000 - $20,000.  In affordable grade, the price has risen a bit more modestly.  Copies in Mid Grade (FN 6.0) sell for around $2,000 in today's market, while copies 10 years ago would have sold for $900.  In GD 2.0, the price has risen from $200 in 2009 to $700 today!  We recommend you pick up a complete, low grade affordable copy with nice page quality and wait for the price appreciation!

Why is this comic book valuable?

Batman #23 portrays Joker having a mad game of chess against Batman while Robin looks on.  Batman is about to checkmate Joker and Joker is sweating a bit, although he still has his manaical trademark smile!  This is a highly sought after comic for all Batman and Joker fans!
