Doc Savage Comics

Doc Savage Comics was a comic series with three famous volumes. It is said that the best one is Volume 1, released between May 1940 and May 1941. The issues featured adventure and mystery tales, even some adaptations from books. It always featured at least one story with Doc Savage as the main character, but also came with several other stories and characters, such as Billy the Kid, Captain Death, and Cap Fury. The numbering of the volumes is a little strange: the first one that came out in 1936 carries the name “Volume 07”. After that, “Volume 01” came out in 1940, and the comic was finally canceled after the release of “Volume 02”, released from 1942 to 1943.
