Contact Comics

Contact Comics was first released in July 1944 as a war and fighting comic, adding in some other stories along the way. It mostly featured tales of pilots at war, or soldiers fighting Native Americans at the start of the US colonization. The stories were great but it was released in 1944, just before the end of WWII. After the war ended, publishers decided it was best to forget about all the horrors of the war, and a huge number of fighting/war comics were canceled, including this one.
