Baffling Mysteries

Baffling Mysteries was a suspense and horror series released in November 1951 by Ace Comics. At the time, they had other series in circulation but this was the first volume exploring the suspense and pre-code horror genres. Originally the comic was owned by another publisher, but Ace Comics bought the rights after the release of issue #4, managing the publishing of issues #5 to #26. The series featured 4 to 5 suspense and horror stories per issue, each with different characters. The comic had great success at the time and it managed to stay relevant for over four years, when the series was cancelled after issue #26 in 1955.
