Author: Brent Moeshlin

Brent Moeshlin is the founder and CEO of Quality Comix, which he runs as one of the country's largest online vintage comic book operations, acquiring around 250,000 books per year from sellers across the U.S. His love of the medium traces back nearly four decades to a chance newsstand purchase of World's Finest #284 as a boy, and he soon zeroed in on Amazing Spider-Man and Thor runs. A formative deal came at age 13, when he scored two long boxes of Spider-Man issues for $200 from a local seller—the same comics he later sold on eBay for more than $2,500, which sparked his career in the trade. Before that pivot, Brent spent four years as a computer programmer in the U.S. Air Force, earning an honorable discharge. He launched QualityComix.com in 2000 and added a brick-and-mortar storefront in Prattville, Alabama in 2014. Across more than two decades online and at conventions, he's built a reputation for strict grading and going above and beyond for his customers.
