What's Superman #123 worth in 2024?

A VF 8.0 set the highest price of $2,900 in 2018, easily passing the sales of higher grades in previous years. FN+ 6.5 went from $325 in 2013 to today's price of $1,400. That's an increase over 330% and over $1,000 in net profit! The lower end has seen some negative movement: GD 2.0 dropped from $250 in 2016 to a current value of $130.

Why is this comic book valuable?

This issue features the first appearance and death of 'Super-Girl' in an early incarnation of the character. The first true appearance of the enduring Kara Zor-El Supergirl occurred nine months later in Action Comics #252.
