Auction Bids
To bid, you'll need to have a registered account. (Click on the My Account button to register).
 
Once you have an account do the following:
1) place your bids into the box next to the book(s) you want to bid on and then at the bottom of the screen, put your user id (email address) and password and then click on the submit bid button.
2) This will take you to a confirm your bids screen.  Ensure you've bid on the correct books and that your maximum bids are correct and then click the confirm bid button
3) Once you click the confirm bid button, the confirmation screen will let you know your bids have been placed.  You can then view or change your bids in the my account section under auction bids.

Rules on Auctions:
1) You must bid above the minimum bid (or next bid) which is clearly marked in the row next to the book.
2) You can enter your highest maximum bid, qualitycomix will then act as your proxy, allowing other bidders to bid up to your maximum until you are no longer the high bidder at which time, you will receive an email letting you know that you have been outbid in the event you'd like to place a higher bid on that book.  With proxy bidding, you will pay the lowest possible price until someone else places a higher bid

Auction Snipes

Q-Snipe allows bidders to schedule their maximum bids ahead of time and the bids will be placed less than 1 minute before the auction ends.

To place a Q-Snipe in our current auction:
1. Login to the site
2. Go to the Auction Detail page for the item
3. Click on the Button labelled: 'Q-Snipe This Item'

It's a very simple process and saves bidders from having to sit thru every auction to bid on the book(s) that they are most interested in.  You must have your Q-Snipe entered at least 1 hour before that auction lot ends.

Auctions
In our Auction section, you can view all of the books available to bid on.  You can batch bid (place a bid on more than 1 auction at the same time).  All of our auctions have large scans that you can view by clicking on the row of the comic you'd like to view or clicking on the thumbnail.  Also, a description of every auction is given as well.  If you've placed a bid on an auction, you can view the other bidders in that auction after the auction is over.  This is to convey a sense of transparency and give the bidder confidence that there is no shill bidding on the auction he placed a bid on.

Catalog
Here you can view all books that Quality Comix has for sale in our regular inventory at the present time.  We do our best to keep our website updated and current so every book available on our site is available in our inventory.  You have 2 choices when deciding to purchase a book.  You can either place a bid which must be higher than the minimum bid for that book or you can add the book to your shopping cart.  If you place a bid, your bid will be accepted, rejected or countered generally within 3 business days. To view a book's scan and description click on the thumbnail or anywhere in that comic's row and you'll be able to view the catalog details for that comic.

Catalog Bids

Placing a catalog bid is the equivalent of making an offer on a book.  The seller of the book you've placed a bid on will either accept your bid, counter your bid with a counteroffer, or decline your bid.  Bids will generally be responded to within 5 business days.

Certify Your Books
Certify your books with CGC!  Just fill out the step by step form, print out the forms upon completion and then send the form in with your books to CGC directly for a 10% discount!  It's easy!

Checkout
Checkout is a 4 step process to pay for the comic books that you've purchased on qualitycomix.com.  Help for individual checkout screens can be found at the bottom of every checkout page.  Please contact us immediately at info@qualitycomix.com with any errors that occur in the payment process.

Comments/Suggestions
Please give us feedback on the site and let us know how we're doing and what we can do to improve.

Consignments
you can now consign books directly to Quality Comix using our online consignment system.  You can upload front and back cover scans, set pricing, comments etc.  You can also accept/reject bids on your consignments in your account section, view purchases of consignments sold, and view the accounting on your books, ie how much is owed to you after commissions and any other fees.  In addition, You have the ability to consign books to our inventory or schedule books in our upcoming auctions. 

Edit Profile
Change your contact information such as address, phone number etc. here.

Email Preferences
Change the type of emails that are being sent to you.  For example, if you don't want to receive a confirmation email when you place a bid on a comic, then click the checkbox "no" for that email preference.  Allow 24 hours for your changes to take effect.

You need to either create a new account or login into your existing account.  If you've forgotten your password, click on the "forgot your password" link to have a new password emailed to your email address.  When creating a new account, please enter in all required information that is specified by the "*".

Order Details
Shows the books purchased in this order and any other pertinent information about that order.

Orders
Shows all of the orders that you have placed on qualitycomix.com and the status of that order.

Pressing

Quality Comix now offers a professional pressing service for our customers.  Turnaround times are extremely fast and come with a guarantee that if the turnaround times are not met, a 50% reduction in fees will be applied to that invoice.  The steps to have your books professionally pressed at a reasonable cost are simple:

1) Login (or register) to your Quality Comix account
2) Click on Review/Place Orders under the Pressing Service heading
3) Check Checkbox to agree to disclose if selling and Click on Submit Application
4) Create a new Pressing order by clicking on the "Create New Order" button
5) Once finished entering in all books, click on complete order
6) You can pay for your order via paypal at this time or you can include a check/MO with the books.  If you'd like to pay with a credit card, please call us at 1-800-548-3314.
7) Print out the invoice and include it with the books you will be sending to us.  Include payment if necessary.

NOTE: If you'd like us to send the books directly to CGC for you, our staff will send them directly and apply our 20% dealer discount to the CGC order.  Payment will be calculated and handled separately from the pressing fees.

Delineates what forms of payments Quality Comix accepts, time payments and other information regarding the sale of books on QualityComix.com.

Upcoming Conventions
Shows the conventions that Quality Comix is tentatively planning to attend.  If there are specific books in our inventory that you'd like to see in person at a show we're attending, then please let us know and we'll bring them to the show for you.

Wantlist
You can now enter books that you're looking for with specific grades and price range into your wantlist system.  If these books enter our inventory, you'll receive an email confirming that these books are now online.

Watchlist
The watchlist will help you keep track of qualtycomix auctions that you wish to track.  You can track an unlimited number of auctions.  There is no feature to track catalog books as there is no timed element involved with those books.
